Zara saamne to aao chhaliye

Aasman ki ye aawaaz hai...

Zara saamne to aao chhaliye, chup chup chalne me kya raaz hai
Zara saamne to aao chhaliye, chup chup chalne me kya raaz hai
Zara saamne to aao chhaliye...

Hume darne ki jag me kya baat hai, jab haath me tihaare meri laaj hai
Zara saamne to aao chhaliye...

Prem ki hai ye aag sajan jo idhar uthe aur udhar lage
Prem ki hai ye aag sajan jo idhar uthe aur udhar lage
Pyaar ka hai ye taar piya jo idhar saje aur udhar baje
Teri preet pe bada hume naaz hai, mere sar ka tu hi re sartaaj hai
Zara saamne to aao chhaliye, chup chup chalne me kya raaz hai
Zara saamne to aao chhaliye...

The lyrics of this song have always resonated with me, regardless of the mood they depict.
I have absolute faith in God, who, I believe, listens when I talk. My God is a kind, loving, vibrant, powerful, virile, happy, funny entity who frowns upon all forms of unkindness.
I feel that the word ‘chhaliya’ and some of the lines are aligned with my concept of God rather than the austere or melancholy versions I often encounter. ~ S
