Caravan had so many superhit numbers that this one did not get as much attention. However, it’s a nice song that celebrates the journey and not the destination. It’s about friendship and not romance, which is a nice change. It’s also about empathy and people united by their humanity and suffering and not divided by religions and religious leaders, a rare concept these days. And all in a mobile home! All of which is kinda cheesy but still nice. 

This has been a difficult year for me and for S. I have to believe that we will get there, but we will stop and start and en route, we’ll help shoulder each other’s load a little and share our worries and our sorrows and of course, our joys. It’s not the destination; it’s the journey and sharing even part of it with S has been so good it’s indescribable. As the year moves to meld with another calendar year, I wish everyone a journey that is interesting and that you can share with a friend as wonderful as S. Lots of love.
