Ek hi saaz ke taar hain sab
Humko mil julke rahna hai yaaron
Hey pyaar hai zindagi ki nishani
Yeh buzurgon ka kahna hai yaaron
Ek hi saaz ke taar hain sab
Humko mil julke rahna hai yaaron
Hey socho kal kya the

Tumko le na doobe
Kahin apni yeh ladaai

Ram yeh hai toh Rahman tum ho
Yeh hai Kartar toh John tum ho
Nam kuchh ho magar yeh na bhoolo
Sab se pehle toh insaan tum ho
Hey Ram yeh hai toh Rahman tum ho
Yeh hai Kartar toh John tum ho
Nam kuchh ho magar yeh na bhoolo
Sab se pehle toh insaan tum ho

Har jagah pyaar ki hai kahani
Pyaar sadiyo se ab tak amar hai
Aur har cheez hai aani jani
Hey yeh Ajanta hai woh Taj dekho
Har jagah pyaar ki hai kahani
Pyaar sadiyo se ab tak amar hai
Aur har cheez hai aani jani
Hey jab tak yeh duniya hai
Tab tak yeh zinda hai

Jab inki yaad aayi

Movie: Hum Sab Ustad Hain (1965)
Director: Maruti Rao
Singer: Kishore Kumar
Lyricist: Asad Bhopali
Music Composer: Laxmikant-Pyarelal

Asad Bhopali, a poet from Bhopal, was first introduced to Bollywood by producers Fazli Brothers in 1949. He wrote many songs for their films. His big break came with BR Chopra's Afsana (1951), after which he worked with several great music directors.
Although he was not as successful as lyricists such as Majrooh Sultanpuri, Sahir Ludhianvi, and Rajinder Krishan, he wrote songs for many hit films, such as Parasmani, Ustaadon Ke Ustaad, Roop Tera Mastana, and Maine Pyar Kiya
Bhopali received the Filmfare Award for the song Dil Deewana from Maine Pyar Kiya, but could not attend the award ceremony. He had suffered a severe paralytic stroke.
Bhopali died on 9 June 1990. This song from Hum Sab Ustad Hain featuring Kishore Kumar seemed apt to remember him on his death anniversary. ~ S
