This was the song I had chosen for the week Vinod Khanna died. I was in a funk and needed to snap out of it. That meant reading/watching mindless comedy. By now, it should be evident how much we (R and I) love Kishore Kumar. So, naturally, I went for a funny song sung by him.

This song is a parody of a Bengali folk song ‘Dheere se jaana bagiyan mein re bhanwra’ composed and sung by S D Burman. I have no clue about the story of the film. So, this choice is based purely on my love of the funny parts of the lyrics and the rendering. ~ S
